The Rock

Jesus the Rock, your stability and stronghold. When everything else is shifting sand, Jesus remains unshakable. Let your faith be strengthened as you review these Bible verses.

Prayer:

Lord You are my stability. You alone are my Rock and there is no other! I run to You and I am helped. You are a firm foundation beneath my feet. My anxious thoughts are settled in the strength of Your Presence. I rejoice in Your nearness, for You are a Rock of habitation to which I may continually come. You are my stronghold, my fortress and the Rock of my salvation. I will sing of Your love forever and will proclaim that You alone are the Rock of strength.

Scripture:

1 Corinthians 10:4 “…and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.”

Deuteronomy 32:4 “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.”

Psalms 92:15 “To declare that the LORD is upright; [He is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”

Psalms 71:3 “Be Thou to me a rock of habitation, to which I may continually come; Thou hast given commandment to save me, For Thou art my rock and my fortress.”

Psalms 95:1 “O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.”
