Logos Tech Tip | Using the Fuzzy View in Bible Search
Have you ever tried to find a verse containing a particular phrase—but you forget the exact wording? Or maybe you remember it from a different translation from the one you’re using now?
This is where the Bible Search Fuzzy View comes in handy. It checks all Logos translations and returns hits related to your search string.
For example, you may be familiar with the phrase “only begotten Son” to refer to Jesus, but you will find this doesn’t return any results when running a Bible Search in your current translation.
Switching to Fuzzy View shows verses you might be looking for even when the phrases don’t match your active translation.
The video shows some more worked examples.
Note: Since this search makes use of Bibles on Logos servers, you need to be online to use it.
The Bible Search Fuzzy View is available in a range of feature upgrades including Logos 10 Disciple.
