Pastor Bobby teaches from James 1, and says this message is about doing the word. In the same way that the most powerful thing in your life is words, the most powerful weapon the enemy has against you is words. Words are underneath everything and are extremely valuable, with today’s message: “Our Greatest Power.” The Hour of Power Worship Team and Orchestra, directed by Fernando Munoz, performs “Hear Our Praises” (Ruben Morgan; arr: Richard Kingsmore) with Dr. Philip Hoch on piano. The Hour of Power Worship Team and Orchestra, directed by Fernando Munoz, performs “Draw Me Close” (Kelly Carpenter; Keith Wilbanks) with Dr. Philip Hoch on piano. Dominic is married to Voices of Hope conductor, Elizabeth Salvati. Today, he performs “No More Night” (Walt Harrah) and is accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra with Fernando Munoz, and Dr. Philip Hoch on piano. Pastor Bobby Schuller talks with Chad Blake, executive pastor of Shepherd’s Grove. After 15 years with this ministry, Chad and his wife Hillary are moving their family to Bend, Oregon. Bobby talks of his time with Chad and the great relationship the two have had. Chad and Hillary feel that God is calling them to step out in faith and live a life with no regrets. Chad’s final Sunday will be September 29. Scripture reading: James 1:19-25 |
