Keep Ministering
Remember when you said the prayer? The moment you put your faith in Jesus and entered into relationship with Him? Maybe it happened at a church gathering, a camp, or maybe even your own home. That moment was huge, but that was just the start of your journey. As believers we always aim to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus, but even more, we continually minister the gospel, not just to unbelievers, but to believers as well.
In Acts we see that Paul and Barnabas were around the same people over and over again. They didn’t keep moving from one place to another without checking in with those they had already ministered to. Imagine if Paul and Barnabas had just shared the good news, planted the church, and then left. Wouldn’t those early believers feel discouraged in their faith? That’s why we continually need to minister to each other, even after the moment of conversion. Let’s go beyond the initial moment of faith and keep strengthening our brothers and sisters.
