Attention! Save the Date for this very important Special Congregational Meeting! After much work by the Call Committee and the Church Board, a Pastoral Candidate, Pastor Ryan Marsh, will be voted on to receive the call to Crossroads as our next Pastor! Per our constitution, "Authority to call a pastor shall be in this congregation by at least a two-thirds vote of voting members present and voting at a meeting legally called for that purpose." Also, per the constitution, "Ten (10%) percent of the voting disciples shall constitute a quorum". Don't miss this exciting meeting for Crossroads Lutheran Church! Zoom will be available for attending and voting! Please remember, you must be a Disciple to be able to vote. Interested in becoming a Disciple, please see information below!
The Reverand Ryan Marsh received his Master’s in Divinity in 2016 from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. He is an ordained ELCA minister, and has spent the past 20 years in ministry boldly proclaiming the good news of the crucified Savior and risen Lord. He trusts the Holy Spirit to speak to each of us in the crossroads of our lives and transform us for God’s glory. His goals are as follows:
Love each other deeply
Worship wholeheartedly
Pray unceasingly
Stand solidly on the Word
Courageously share Christ’s faith with others
It’s in these “ancient paths”, this Mission of Jesus that disciples are made and the Church grows in vitality and numbers.
Now living in the Seattle, Washington area, Pastor Ryan has been married to his wife Bonnie for 19 years, and together they have three amazing children: Moses (16), Juniper (14), and Simon (11). The Pacific Northwest has always been their home, however Bonnie is originally from Mesa where her father and sister still live.
Pastor Jacqui Pagel from the Grand Canyon Synod joined us this past Sunday to preach the good word and install Vicar Lelia! Thank you Pastor Jacqui!
I am the Good Shepherd
Jesus responds to the question of his identity with the remarkable claim that he and the Father are one. Those who understand this are his sheep; they hear his voice, follow, and will never be snatched from his hand. How do you hear the voice of Jesus calling?
