The Teacher

The Teacher

Intro:
Jesus is the Teacher. His disciples followed Him everywhere, calling Him by that name. As His modern day followers, we still call Him Teacher. Be encouraged as you read the following Bible verses.
Prayer:
Jesus, I thank You for being my teacher. Though You know all things in heaven and on earth, still You bid me to come, and I’m so grateful to find a place at Your feet. Lord, help me to lay down the cares of this world and take up Your yoke.
I come to You now, to learn from You, for ‘You are gentile and humble in heart’. Teach me how to enter into your rest. I’m here to wait upon you, until my strength has been renewed like the eagle. Jesus teach me more about childlike faith and simple trust resting when I need to rest in You, and persevering in prayer when I just need to go the second mile. I draw near to You now in prayer and with Your Word and simply say, ‘speak Lord for Your servant listens .’ Thank You Jesus, my Teacher.
Scripture:
John 13:13 “You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for [so] I am.”
Job 12:13 “With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding.”
Psalms 32:8 “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.”
Matthew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls .”
Psalms 25:8 “Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.”
