Giving and Receiving

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13
Today’s Word:
Draw near to Me, embrace My embrace, I am yours and you are Mine. My strength will uphold you in the darkness and the light. Lean into My strength, lean into My Presence, turn your eyes upon Me – for My love is unfailing, sustaining, enlivening, renewing. I am the source of all Love and from that Love all resources flow.
Ask, and you will receive. If you ask for a large amount of Love, I will not respond with a small amount. For generosity is a joy to Me, and My portion is so that your brimming cup runs over. Though sometimes the testing of your faith requires endurance and perseverance, remember that storm-battered faith will rise again with the reward. So, that, not only will you receive the answer that you seek, but in addition to that you will have the benefit of those trained in endurance. What is that benefit? Indeed the benefit is that your strength has increased, and this is a strength that will lay hold of greater victories in the days to come.
For now, lean into Me, for I am the vine, the source of life and love. Tap deep into your source, through your union with me. For love never fails. And every seed you sow in love will reap a reward. All good things grow out of your relationship with Me. As you make our friendship a priority, the flower, fruit and fragrance of life will burst forth through you to a world that is dying and without hope in Me.
Scripture:
John 15:4-5 “Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Psalms 23:5-6 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
James 1:2-3 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”
