Others make spiritual gifts the main thing that they talk about. The apostle Paul tells us plainly that he wants us to understand spiritual gifts, but as we read the passage, we find that people can get their identity from spiritual gifts instead of Jesus! (Just look at 1 Corinthians 13) May we be able to graciously receive the spiritual gifts God has for us without making those gifts an end in themselves.
