The Psalms give those who feel powerless great hope, for that is when God Himself becomes their strength. The graduation from willpower to surrender is a glorious moment, but it usually takes a lot of time and quite a bit of wearing out before we actually relinquish our control to the God who loves us and has our final destination in mind.
