We are to live with an eternal perspective. There may be times when we are persecuted or isolated for our faith, but hindrances do not mean that our life is in vain. The apostle Paul spent the later part of his life in prison, yet this where he wrote most of the New Testament. Any time earthly doors close on you because of your faith, know that the doors of heaven are opening. God sees this as a life well lived.
