How do we process weakness? This Psalm gives us great hope when it proclaims that when our spiritual life feels like a flicker, God knows and has compassion. This should empower us, because we can be real about our need with God and each other. The entire Bible is about God’s faithfulness, so our ultimate trust is God’s ability to hold us even when we feel faint in our faith and unable to hold onto Him.
