Prayer is a way to deal with the stress in our lives. Our sense of relief doesn’t come from God’s answers as much as from God’s attention. Then we discover that we have had God’s attention all along in Christ; we are the ones who lost sight of Him. That discovery in itself can help peace like a river attend our ways.
