A Sunday story from Jim Kincheloe:

A Sunday story from Jim Kincheloe:
Earlier this morning I got a wonderful text from our brother Jim Kincheloe. As many of you know Jim has been in rehab since before Christmas with a broken leg. Like so many who are in nursing homes and rehab facilities across the country, Jim is unable to have visitors at this time. His text to me began: “Boy am I blessed!” Earlier in the morning his IV was beeping and a nurse came in to check on him. He was in the middle of singing “how great thou art.” The nurse started to sing along. Soon six other staff members joined in. They sang “this little light of mine” “what a friend we have in Jesus” “Go tell it on the mountain” “lift every voice and sing” “wade in the water” and others. Three of the staff members sing in their church choirs. Other patients were in the hallway. They applauded when the singing ended!! Jim ended his text with “we all agreed we had been to church…what a blessing. Praise the Lord.”
