The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalm 27:1 (NIV) Today’s commentary by Dave Whitehead, Author of Making Sense of the Bible Fear is a debilitating force that affects all of our lives. Fear can keep us from going forward and it can color everything that we see with the hues of uncertainty. But the Psalms tells us that when we look to the Lord everything comes into perspective. Fear has to flee, for the light of God turns the shadows of uncertainty into possibility and He reminds us of His strength in the moments when we feel most vulnerable. This is the walk of faith that is available to every believer.
