Our gospel for Sunday records how our Good Shepherd was "going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness."
The next verse especially captured my attention:
"Seeing the people, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36-37)
Being moved with compassion means that we take action to help those we encounter in our everyday world who are feeling harassed and helpless!
This Sunday we will explore some creative ways to do this. Come ready to worship God and be equipped to make an eternal difference in people's lives!
Your servant in Christ,
