I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.
The church is a sign to the world that God is alive and active on the earth. Think of it—with all of the problems that have plagued the Church since her inception, the fact that the church is still growing throughout the world is miraculous. God upholds His bride through His power, not hers. We were not meant to be known for our great abilities, but that God is our God and we are His people.
