“How Can We Not Give Back?”
When Andrew and Aimmie Jenkins attended Operation Heal Our Patriots in 2016, their marriage was broken and close to being over. But God brought healing to their relationship during their week at Samaritan Lodge Alaska. They forgave each other and also experienced God's forgiveness.
Bless a Military MarriageNow, six years later, Andrew and Aimmie are Key Leaders in our Family Care ministry. Family Care is the year-round, lifetime commitment we make to Operation Heal Our Patriots couples. Part of that care is the veteran-led Key Leaders program in which trained couples connect with other Alaska alumni in their area to build community and help them grow in their marriage and in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
“After everything that God has done in our marriage through Samaritan's Purse, how can we not give back?” Aimmie said. “How can we not say, ‘Hey, this is what God has done, and He can do it for you, too’?”
