In addition, those who have been baptized but wanted to affirm their baptism will be invited to come forward as well.

WORKSHOP: WHY DON"T MY CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN
GO TO CHURCH (AND WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT)?
NOVEMBER 2, 2022 at 10am
Pastor David Lose presents “Why don't my children and grandchildren go to church? (And what can I do about it),” a free event at All Saints Lutheran Church, on Wednesday, 11/2/2022, at 10am. Coffee and treats available prior to the event.  “Why Don’t My Grandchildren Go to Church? (And What Can I Do About It?)” is the topic of the book Lose has been working on as he is delving into cultural change and patterns of church attendance and how many of our practices unintentionally contribute to these downward trends. There is no anticipated publication date at this time.  We're trying to connect all Crossroads attenders at this event.

CHURCH CENTER APP IS HERE

We are transitioning away from Breeze to another platform called Planning Center Online (PCO) beginning January 1, 2023. We were using Breeze to manage contact information, group information, volunteer, general communication and many behind-the-scenes processes. All of this is now done in PCO.  The next step is for you to download the free Church Center app that integrates with Planning Center.  This will enable you to manage your profile information, donations, events you've registered for, and groups you attend or lead. You can also view a church calendar and directory.  Help is available throughout the week to get you set up.  Contact Kelly Dunlap for support.

MEET GOD
HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE
APRIL 10-20, 2023
Join Pastor Charles along with ELCA Bishops Pedro Suarez (Florida-Bahamas Synod) and Yehiel Curry (Metropolitan Chicago Synod) on an 11-day journey to the Holy Land next spring. This joint pilgrimage includes 10 days of sightseeing and unforgettable experiences.  Journey to the places where Jesus lived and ministered. Explore Jesus’ world in and around Jerusalem as well as his life in the city of Bethlehem to the Sea of Galilee.  Visit the Lutheran School in Bethlehem and dialogue with the Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Jerusalem.  Space is limited. Contact Pastor Charles for more information.

KIDSCITY NEW FORMAT

Believe the sacrament of baptism is a beautiful life-changing event. In baptism, we trust that God is active in cleansing us from our sin, we are claimed as children of God and we receive the free gift of God’s grace.  Whether as an infant or an adult, we trust that in baptism, we are joined to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus!  Contact Pastor Charles Newman to discuss your participation in Baptism Sunday.

PUMPKIN SPICE SUNDAY NOVEMBER 13th
Enjoy pumpkin spice treats. Leave worship with a full heart.  Your friends at Crossroads are pleased to kickoff a new season with a special Sunday event. The service will brim with inspiration; hospitality will flood our building with everything pumpkin spice!
Our Prayer Ministry takes many forms and expressions. But in all expressions, we communicate with God through prayer.  Whether you need prayer, or would like to join us in one of our prayer ministries, we would like to invite you to find your place with us, in prayer.  If you would like to submit a prayer request, contact Pam Dienert.  You can join also join us on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 2:00pm for online intercessory prayer or by appointment for prayer of healing.  Please email Church Office or call (480) 849-2465 for the link.  To schedule an appointment for prayer click here.
MEET FRIENDS
ALL CHURCH GATHERING
Jesus nurtured His twelve disciples as they followed Him closely, learning how to imitate Him in all He said and did. In our C3 Community, we explore what God is saying to us as a church through teaching, sharing and vision casting.  Then you explore your God-given potential by imitating and learning from others as you apply it to making and multiplying disciples in your own life.  This is an open invitation to all. But let us know you're coming so we have enough food.

WELCOME BACK WINTER DISCIPLES & FRIENDS GATHERINGS
Nov 14 10:00 AM
Everyone is welcome! We especially invite all our friends who worship with us during the winter months. Come meet new friends, hear what's happening at Crossroads and the vision for 2023 from Pastor Charles.  Attend one of these informative gatherings.  All gatherings will be held at Crossroads at 10:00am.
A FAMILY ON MISSION
Jesus had an extended family on mission — disciples beyond the twelve that he considered sisters and brothers who regularly met together for meals, reflection, and mission. In the early church, they called this oikos, or what we might call household or house church today. At Crossroads our Missional Communities are the heartbeat where you too can regularly participate in this kind of tight-knit Kingdom community. To learn more, join or start a missional community contact Pastor Charles Newman
MAKE LIFE BETTER
The Crossroads Giving Tree is our unique way of supporting a family in need with our community partner the Florence Unified School District.  Each year we assembly a team of "elves" who plan the event for the church.  We invite you to join our planning meeting on Nov. 6 after the 9:15 worship service in the Sanctuary.  For more information contact Michelle Scavo
The annual community Trunk or Treat event is expected to be bigger than ever this year. It is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 29 from 5-7 p.m. at Crossroads Church. Children are invited to come in costume and enjoy a family friendly atmosphere of traditional candy gathering.  The event is still in need of volunteers to donate a “trunk” and distribute candy for the Trunk or Treat fun.  Please contact Nicole Crowder or call the church office 480-849-2465 if you are able to donate a Trunk.
2022 FUND FOR LEADERS GOLF CLASSIC
The 11th Annual Fund for Leaders Golf Charity Classic at the Arrowhead Country Club in Glendale is Monday, November 14, 2022, beginning at 7am.
