Hi Peter,

How’s your new year going so far? It’s hard to believe we’re already three weeks into 2023!

As we move forward on life’s journey, we’re wise not to spend our time reliving the mistakes of our past. As we look to Jesus, He keeps us focused on what’s before us, not behind us, so that we do not stumble or stray.

It’s all too easy to get caught up in the regrets of our past and focus on “What if?” scenarios, but I want to encourage you to let go of those things and trust the Lord’s guidance in your life. He knows your future, and He has incredible plans for you! As Psalm 139:16 reminds us, “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Don’t let your past hinder your journey forward. Instead, take the lessons you have learned and use them to grow and become the person God created you to be.

The Lord is always orchestrating new opportunities in our lives, and He is always ready to give us fresh starts and new beginnings. Even in our darkest moments, He is there, willing to guide us and to bring beauty from the ashes.

God’s plan for your life isn’t just about the destination at the end of your journey. He knows the person you are becoming, the relationships you are building, and the impact you are having along the way.

So Peter, let go of the past and embrace your best future in Jesus. Trust that He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Together, let’s be people who are willing to step out in faith and follow where He leads us, forgetting what is behind us and reaching toward what is ahead! I’m praying for you, and I believe that with Jesus by your side, your brightest days are yet to come!

God loves you and so do I,

Bobby Schuller
