A severe storm system swept through the Southeast on Thursday afternoon, spawning deadly tornadoes that ripped through dozens of communities.
A Samaritan's Purse team is already on the ground in Selma, Alabama—one of the hardest-hit areas—and a Disaster Relief Unit, stocked with tools and equipment, is on its way. We are also responding in Griffin, Georgia.
Volunteers will soon begin removing debris, tarping roofs, and cutting fallen trees as we help hurting homeowners pick up the pieces of their lives. More importantly, as we work in Jesus' Name we will be sharing the hope of the Gospel and letting them know that God has not forgotten them. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to join us in serving those in need.
