WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
PENTECOST SUNDAY: WEAR RED

In the coming of the Holy Spirit, the disciples receive new languages, which are set aflame by the work of Christ.  This week we'll explore trusting the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart, and speaking the words that God has given you.  Remember to wear RED as part of our annual celebration of Pentecost.

HUDDLE/DISCUSSION GUIDE

  1.  What is one thing that stood out to you from this week’s message?
  2. Have you ever felt you absolutely had to say something? What was the response?
  3. When you find a new product or service that is everything you hoped for, how do you tell people about it? How do you feel when you’re telling people about it?
  4. Has bad news ever turned into good news for you?

MEET GOD
SABBATH SEASON: TIME FOR REST AND RECHARGE
Annually during the summer, we invite everyone to join us in practicing one of the most ancient spiritual formation practices- the sabbath. It is a time and space to find God’s presence and discover who we are when we aren’t surrounded by distraction, chaos, or the need to do rather than be. This year our sabbath observance will start on the first Sunday in June.  There will be a resource guide available each week to help you with this practice.  Stay tuned for more information.
PRAYER MINISTRY AT CROSSROADS
Prayer is essential as to what shapes Crossroads.  We would love to have you join us in one of our rhythms of corporate prayer!  We meet from 2:00-2:30 every other Wednesday online. Together, we get a sense of how God is speaking to his people and how we’re responding to his Word. This includes a time of intercession and preparation for the Sunday gathering.  To join the prayer ministry or request prayers contact:

CROSSROADS SUMMER THEATER CAMP
JUNE 5-30

Campers will LOVE acting, singing and dancing throughout a week at Crossroads Theater Summer Camp! With great options for campers in grades K – 12, participants will not only learn new skills, but have a great time with friends and the amazing camp staff.  This year we are excited to partner with Arizona Repertory Theater/Art for Kids directed by our very own Rachel Evans.

TODDLER TIME I May 26 @ 9:30AM
Everybody loves a good story, especially our preschoolers! Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to play and learn at Crossroads' Toddler Time.  We provide stories, songs and crafts.  At the end of our structured sessions, littles can enjoy a pre-packaged (nut free) snack and play while adults can talk and share in their journey of raising small people.  This group is for children ages 0-5 along with their caregiver.

C3 (Celebrate.Connect.Contribute)
June 7 I 6:30PM

C3 (Celebrate, Connect and Contribute) is a vital component of our church’s culture as we foster friendships and spiritual formation through exploring the Bible, sharing experiences, and serving neighbors together. Our hope is that through C3 people can participate in a tight-knit kingdom community as we process what God is saying to us and receive the encouragement and support to do it.  For more information, contact Pastor Charles Newman.
