“So we urged Titus, just as he had earlier made a beginning, to bring also to completion this act of grace on your part.” 2 Corinthians 8:6
Today, I would like to share with you a little hack that I have found to be really helpful when I am trying to get started on something I’ve been putting off. I think we can all relate to staring at a blank computer screen and not being able to type that first word. Perhaps you need to make a sales call, but you can't get yourself to do it. Maybe you are single and you want to introduce yourself to someone, but you find it difficult to make the first move...
On this third Sunday of Advent, Pastor Bobby teaches us from Matthew 2:10,11 and shares that in life, we have to understand that not only do we need to value relationships, but we also need to think about who’s influencing us, with today’s message, “Your Inner Circle Matters.” Our interview guest is Zach Southall, the founder of Charity on Wheels, a non-profit organization based here in Orange County, which aims to help the homeless. Inspired by his faith, Zach wanted to help others, so he began delivering resources to those in need. From there, Charity on Wheels was born in 2012, and has been helping people get off the streets and restore their lives ever since. Special music is provided by Noelle Lidyoff, a singer-songwriter who is currently writing music for TV/film and is also a member of Voices of Hope Children’s Choir. Today, she performs, “Silent Night," accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. Then, the Hour of Power Choir, under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras — along with soloist Abdiel Gonzalez — performs “One Sweet Little Baby," accompanied by Dr. Philip Hoch on the piano. They also sing "And the Glory of the Lord" from Messiah. We hope you'll join us!

Christmas is the season for giving, and we're ever grateful for the many ways you give to us throughout the year! Your support, encouragement, and prayers keep us going strong, and in this time of economic uncertainty, we are in need of some extra help. Inflation is no stranger to any of us, and today, we're facing an uncertain financial future. That's why we're so excited about our year-end "Joy to the World" Challenge Campaign.
A faithful donor in Australia has already given over $300,000 to prime the pump, and we're challenged to double that to $600,000 by the end of 2023. A gift of any amount makes a huge difference, and we can't wait to reach even more people with YOU in 2024. Thanks for being part of our Hour of Power family!
