This Sunday Deacon Kate Adleman will be leading worship and sharing the Good News, while Pastor Kaila is on vacation. This is the third week of John chapter 6,  Jesus says that the bread he gives for the life of the world is his flesh, and whoever eats this bread has eternal life now and will be raised on the last day. In Ephesians Paul tells us what this life Jesus gives us looks like, this life we live as those marked with the seal of the Holy Spirit in baptism. We live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us. The whole purpose of life is giving yourself for the other. Why did you choose to start attending Crossroads?  Lifelong Lutheran, exciting to be a part of a new congregation What's your favorite memory of attending Crossroads?  Being part of the hospitality team, welcoming new members, especially baptisms. What are you currently involved in at Crossroads?  Serving on the church board as the Treasurer, also on the Call Committee.  I also work part time at The Station Coffee Co. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?  I love to entertain winter visitors, showing them all of the great things in Arizona. What is something that your church family may not know about you?  I love to visit Iowa in August to attend the Iowa State Fair!   MAKE LIFE BETTER Join us at Feed My Starving Children in Mesa for a 2 hour service project packing meals for those in need!
