FW: "The God of Miracles and Wonders" Part I - "I am a Born Winner and a Miraculous Wonder!"

Long but very interesting!!

“The God of Miracles and Wonders”
Part 1 – “I Am a Born Winner and a
Miraculous Wonder!”

The BibleGod's Holy Word declares in Psalm 139:13,15: "For God created my innermost being; He knit me together in my mother's womb. My frame was not hidden from him when I was created in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth."

Inspired by author Mark Batterson and his book, "A Million Little Miracles." Did you know before you were conceived, you existed as an ovum measured one-tenth of one millimeter, a mere microscopic miracle-in-waiting?

It's true. Today, the typical woman carries more than a million eggs in her ovaries, which makes you one in a million, a once in a lifetime winner!

But, that's only half the equation. Are you aware the average male ejaculation contains 300 million sperms?
That's 300,000,000 Michael Phelps lined up in the starting blocks and you, my friend, won that race!

“Why were you chosen by God when millions were not?”

AnswerGod Almighty predestined you, not only to be a winner but a miraculous wonder! Isn't that mind-boggling?

Yet conception is so common that we take it for granted rather than taking it for gratitude.

Your conception is one of the greatest miracles on earth, so much so, the Bible declares in Psalm 139:14: you and I were fearfully and wonderfully made.

Imagine, at the moment of conception, your genetic makeup was already determined and encoded into the double-helix DNA. At full term, the average baby measures 20 inches and weighs pounds.

Incredibly, that's more than 5,000 times the size of that fertilized ovum nine months before. At full maturity your body will contain 37 trillion cells and each of those cells is made up of 100 trillion atoms.

What's even more mind-boggling to fathom is, there are more bacteria in your gut right now than there are stars in our Milkey Way Galaxy!

Even more amazing, the 200 varieties of cells in your human body are as different as blood cells, nerve cells, and skin cells. Yet, you began as a single cell and each cell knows its destiny.

Not only that, "Did you realize from the moment of your God destined conception (when your father’s sperm penetrated your mother’s ovum) until the day death knocks on your door, life is more wondrous and mysterious than you can imagine?”

The Bible declares how in Psalm 139:16-17: "God's eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book (of life) before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them!"

That means nobody born on earth was an accident but, a bonified miracle of God.

How?

With the help of fluorescence microscopy, embryologists have captured the exact moment of conception.

Within microseconds of a sperm penetrating the egg, that egg releases billions of zinc atoms that look like tiny sparklers.

In other words, the miracle of conception mirrors the miracle of creation when God said, "Let there be light!"

Think of that!

When you were conceived in the secret place of your mother's womb, God said, "Let there be you!"

How?

By putting on a fireworks show on display on your behalf!

The amazing thing is there has never been or will ever be anyone quite like you. That’s not a testamentto you and your parents. It’s a testament to the God who created you.

In fact, did you know, no one has your fingerprintcarbon printvoice printeye print, or even sweat print like you.

“Why?”

God’s Word declares in Lamentations 3:22-23:

22
“Because of the Lord's great love his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Everydaywithout exception, you and I experience God’s miracles and wonders. Some big, some small, some invisible, some visible, some tangible, and some intangible.

“How you know miracles exist?”
Answer: The Bible declares in Colossians 1:16:

16
“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”

Not only that, but miraculous miracles of miraculous proportion are also happening all around you.

Right now, you and I are on a giant celestial merry-go round called earth that is spinning on its axis at 1,000 miles per hour and speeding majestically through space at 67,000 miles per hour.

In fact, every day you and I travel 1.6 million miles through space. Talk about frequent flyer miles.

But wait, there’s more!

The Milky Way galaxy we live in is spinning 468,000 mph. At the same time, the Mily Way galaxy is streaking across space at 1,342,162 mph.

Today, humans tend to think God’s miracles are the exception to the rule. Truth is many of God’s miracles and wonders are often overlooked or underappreciated.

“Why is that?”

Why is God’s miracles and wonders often overlooked and underappreciated?

Because there is a fine line between the mundane and the miraculous.

Remember“Nothing is as simple as it seems, and everything is more miraculous than you can imagine.”

Today, according to quantum mechanics, every cell in your human body is 99.99% empty space. In other words, there are 37 sextillion biochemical reactions happening in your body every single second. Think of that. Let your mind marinate on that.

Did you know, if your DNA were stretched from end to end, it would reach the moon and back 150,000 times!

Years ago, the great theoretical physicist Albert Einstein once said, “there are only 2 ways to live your life.” “One is as if nothing is a miracle or everything is a miracle.”

Which leads to the question:

“Which way are you living your life?

“Are you living as though everything God created is a miracle or nothing God created is a miracle?”

Truth be told.

Miracles are transpiring all around you all the time. The problem? A majority of us are like Jacob, who cried out in Genesis 28:16, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I knew it not.”

“But why?” “Why is that?” “Why don’t people see God’s miracles and wonders?”

Because we take God for granted. We stop noticing the incredible sunrises and sunsets. We become numb to the beauty surrounding us.

Why?

We’ve lost our childlike sense of awe and wonder.

Did you know the sunlight you feel glistening off the surface of your face originated from the sun 93 million miles from Earth traveling at 186,282 miles per second?”

It’s true. Each sun ray you feel takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds to touch earth traveling at the speed of light.

Imagine a World without light. Imagine a World of darkness. Yet every atom in the universe traces back to the first 4 words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3“Let there be light.”

Imagine everything you see was once said. And those 4 magical and magnificent words are still creating ever expanding galaxies at the edge of our universe today.

“Why?”

The Bible declares in Exodus 15:11: “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”

Question: What was God (ElohimHebrew for Father, son and Holy Spirit saying when the Triune God spoke light into the darkness and the world into existence?”

Answer: God was declaring, “Let there be electromagnetic radiation with varying wave lengths. Let there be radio wavesmicrowaves and x-rays.”

Let there be bioluminescence and the aurora borealisLet there be rainbows and rainstorms.

Right now, hearing all of these mind-boggling verses and facts.

“You may be wondering how is all this possible?” “How was our World and universe created?”

Answer: It was created by a master designer. By a loving God who always was, is and is to come.

David understood the greatness of God and declared in Psalm 8:1, 3-8:

1
“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens.”
3
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? 5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: 7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, 8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.”

Speaking of God, one day a little boy was drawing a picture. When his dad asked him what he was sketching, he replied, “I’m drawing a picture of God. Startled, the Father replied with a smile, “Son, no one knows what God looks like.” The little boy replied, “They will when I’m done!

Right nowat this moment, everything you feeltouch or sense are more miraculousmore wonderous, and more mysterious than what meets the eye.

Yet you and I live in a World so incredible and so ultra-amazing all we have to do is become like a child.

How?

By opening our hearts and minds and rediscover the wonders of God who iswasand is to come.

So, the next time you feel like a loser or God doesn't care about you.

The next time Satan whispers in your ear you’re a freak or a failure or God doesn't love you or have a plan for your life.

Remember:

There has never been and never will be anyone like you.

No one has your carbon print, fingerprint, voiceprint, or eye print or sweat print like you.

StillGod's Word proclaims in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Let’s pray:

“Thank you, Lord, you are truly the God of Miracles and Wonders. Open our eyes, open our minds, and open our hearts again to childlike belief, that nothing is impossible with you. May this series stretch our imagination, may it stretch our belief and faith that you are God, and we are your children, chosen by you for greatness and eternal glory.”

In Jesus Name, Amen.
