"Living on Borrowed Time"

Deo, a 3-year-old boy in Uganda, was born with a rare congenital heart defect that caused his oxygen levels to dramatically drop and put him at risk for sudden death. Children's Heart Project learned about Deo and knew if he didn't soon receive emergency surgery in the United States that he would die. “He was living on borrowed time,” said Cindy Bonsall, director of the Samaritan's Purse project. But could Deo withstand the long plane trip across the Atlantic?
