Crossroads Lutheran Church is beginning a capital campaign to increase our ministry by eliminating our credit card debt and adding stability to our congregation by hiring a full-time pastor. A full-time pastor gives us the opportunity to increase our church family and become a vibrant presence for God in San Tan Valley and Florence. Our first goal is to raise $30,000 in six months while our stretch goal is $40,000.
Please prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give above and beyond your regular giving to the Ministry of Crossroads. We appreciate every pledge we receive! Pledge cards are due by April 20, 2025. You may pay in installments of your choice or by one-time giving. Designate the funds for the Capital Campaign. You may give via Church center, cash, or check. Our goal is to have the gifts for the More Ministry and Less Debt campaign by October 26, 2025.

“Fill me with laughter.” This is not what we expect so deep into the season of Lent. We are supposed to be getting more serious the closer we get to Good Friday, right? Or, perhaps Psalm 126 is right on time. Laughter, stories, and memories of God’s provision are necessary at all stages of our journey with God as individuals and as family in Christ. They shore up our faith and feed our hope. They remind us that God’s goodness still infuses all creation, and God’s love remains steadfast.
You are invited to listen to “Cover Me in Sunshine” by P!NK and Willow Sage Hart and to take in the words and consider how they might serve as a prayer, a call to God to bring sunshine and laughter as reminders of God’s sustaining and life-giving love.
We need you! The annual Grand Canyon Synod Assembly will be held in Las Vegas this summer. Crossroads Lutheran Church can send two representatives to this Assembly! WHAT IS THE BIBLE YEAR?
The goal is to read the whole Bible in a year, but think about it in terms of smaller, daily goals. Think about a commitment to read a short selection from the Bible plus a concise devotional every day. You can do that – especially since The Bible Year has it all mapped out for you day by day.
Plus, you’ll also get summaries of key themes and ideas to help you better digest and understand your readings. So you’re not just reading verse after verse, you’re enriching your spiritual life, developing a deeper faith and We will be having small groups to discuss The Bible Year so we will be growing a closer connection to God and to each other.
