A New Perspective: God’s Plan Is Greater

View this email in your browser

Dear Friend,

Life doesn’t always go as we hope. Despite our best efforts and faithful prayers, outcomes can feel unfair. Moses' story in Deuteronomy shows how God's goodness remains, even in disappointment.

1. God’s Plan Is Greater Than Our Disappointments (Deuteronomy 34:4)

Moses faithfully led God’s people, but one act of disobedience kept him from entering the Promised Land (Numbers 20:8–12). Though it may seem unfair, Deuteronomy 34:4 reveals that God was fulfilling a greater promise, reminding us that His plans are bigger than our disappointments and always for our good.

2. God’s Strength Carries Us When We Fall Short (Deuteronomy 31:7-8)

Moses’ failure reminds us that even faithful leaders are imperfect, yet God still uses them. Despite his shortcomings, Moses prepared Joshua to lead, showing that when we falter, God equips others to carry His plan forward.

3. God’s Presence Comforts Us in Loss (Psalm 34:18)

Though Moses never reached the Promised Land, his relationship with God remained deeply personal, so much so that God Himself buried him. In our own losses, we can find peace knowing God's presence is our greatest comfort.

4. God’s Final Word Is Always Good (Revelation 21:4)

Moses’ story ended not in failure but in eternal glory. Whatever disappointments we face, we can trust that God’s final word is one of redemption—and it will be wonderful, right, fair, and good.
