May Powerlines—God’s Not Done Yet!

Dear Friend,

If you have ever visited the Crystal Cathedral campus, you may have seen a statue of Job near the Carillon, inscribed with Bible verses. It reminds us that while life can be unfair and overwhelming, Job’s suffering and faithful response reveal how God’s goodness still shines through.

1. God Offers Redemption Amid Injustice (Job 42:10)

Job endured immense suffering despite his integrity and faith. He lost everything through no fault of his own, yet God ultimately restored him. Even when life feels unfair, God redeems and blesses beyond what we imagine.

2. God Gives Strength in Our Weakness (Job 40:2)

In his despair, Job cried out to God. God’s powerful response reminded him of divine wisdom beyond human understanding. Even without all the answers, Job’s faith was strengthened through trust.

3. God Provides Comfort in Grief (Job 1:21)

Job’s greatest sorrow came from losing his children. Yet he chose to praise God. Even in a heartbreaking loss, God’s unchanging nature brought him comfort and hope.

4. God Offers Eternal Hope (Job 19:25-26)

Though Job suffered greatly, he never lost hope in God's justice. In Job 19:25–26, he proclaims confidence that he would one day see God. His faith points us to the promise of eternal life, where suffering will end forever.
