Shalom aleichem, My name is Yossi, and I’m a ZAKA360 volunteer. Today, I held a little girl in my arms as we pulled her from the ruins of what was once her home in Bat Yam. Her face was covered in dust, her eyes wide with fear. Her parents were still missing. This is what we’re facing — in Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, Rechovot, and beyond. Whole homes have collapsed under recent missile attacks. ZAKA 360 volunteers are digging through debris, rescuing the injured, comforting traumatized families, and distributing emergency supplies. Our volunteer teams are engaged in rescue and recovery operations across all areas. We are being exposed to and witnessing the devastation firsthand.
