You Are Not Enough (And That’s the Point)

Stop putting so much faith in yourself.
You are not enough.
You never were and never will be.
That’s not meant to shame you—it’s meant to free you.

We live in a culture that worships self-reliance.
"Believe in yourself."
"Trust your gut."
"You’ve got this."
No, you don’t.

Without God, you don’t have anything.
You don’t have wisdom, strength, peace, or eternal hope.

Everything we try to do apart from Him will eventually collapse.
Every time we make ourselves the hero of the story, the story ends in failure.

Pride tells us we can do it alone.
Humility reminds us we were never meant to.

The world says, “You can do anything you set your mind to.”
God says, “Apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

We need to stop elevating self and start exalting Christ.
We need to stop saying, “I got this,” and start saying, “God’s got this.”
We need to stop trying to be the answer and start trusting the One who is.
With God, there is nothing we cannot do.

Chains break. Mountains move. Dead things come to life.
It’s time to stop living like practical atheists who believe in God on Sunday but trust ourselves the rest of the week.

Let’s return to full dependence on Him.
Let’s put our faith where it belongs—in the only One worthy of it.

If you're tired of doing life in your own strength…
