For us in the UK, it’s almost a relief that summer is finally, on 22nd September, giving way to autumn! After weeks of blisteringly hot days and a few dramatic thunderstorms – quite uncharacteristic for our temperate little isle – we’ve been feeling a little out of sorts and are very much looking forward to the familiar cooling winds and comforting pitter-patter of light rain that accompany the chillier months. Of course, with the advent of autumn comes the celebration of harvest season and, for our Jewish friends, the new year – also on 22nd September. Thus, we have a gorgeous new Rosh Hashanah card to unveil, encapsulating all the traditions of the occasion with a Symbol in the Stars over a feast at the dawn of the new year. |
