The Next Generation
Life is a journey—and with Jesus, it is a journey forward, deeper into relationship with Him. As He directs our steps, we have infinite reasons to declare the miraculous things He has done. And as long as we live, we will leave a legacy of the power and joy that comes from a relationship with Christ and show the truth of God’s promises for the next generation.
The psalmist describes the importance of passing on God’s truth and power to future generations. As young leaders, our hearts and minds must be set on investing in our peers and raising up the next generation to fervently follow Christ.
Because of His faithfulness and provision, our eagerness to further His name should increase as we walk through life with Him.
Today, reflect on God’s marvelous deeds throughout history—both in books and in your own life. Then, fueled by remembrance, seek out opportunities to speak of His power to the next generation.
