Dear Peter,
Spring has sprung, and new life is popping up everywhere! Here in Southern California, we’ve had record-breaking amounts of rain since the start of the year, and the hillsides are bursting with vibrant hues of green, yellow, and orange. It inspires me to witness nature’s colorful display, and it reminds me of an even more amazing truth:
Jesus is alive, and He’s making ALL things new!
Because He left the tomb empty, our Lord lives today to bring fresh hope into every part of our lives. My prayer is that last weekend’s Easter celebrations were just the beginning of a fresh revelation of the goodness of our amazing God to you. He loves you, He’s forgiven you, and He calls you His friend.
This is the transformational message that we get to experience and share together through Hour of Power. The stories of God’s faithfulness continue to amaze me, and I was deeply touched by a testimony I read recently from John, who lives in Brisbane, Australia. He wrote, “Thank you so much for your email and your blessings. Recently I have back slid in my faith due to circumstances, but since listening to your programme and to your sermons, it has so uplifted me again in my faith and my love for Jesus.”
