Become a Bigger Christian
June 17, 2023

“By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” Hebrews 11:3

It's true that there are many things you can believe in, and there are a lot of affirmations that we make as Christians. However, my guess is that you already have enough affirmations. There is one thing I want most from you today: I want you to believe that you can become more, and you can achieve more. It's not the first time that I've mentioned this, but I love big Christians more than I love big churches. Yes, big churches...

Bear Fruit Where You're Planted
This Week's Episode

This week, Pastor Bobby’s encouragement is to blossom, flourish, and bear fruit right where you are — instead of where you want to be — with his message, “Bear Fruit Where You’re Planted.” Our interview guest is Johnny Sirpilla, the CEO of Encourage LLC, and an entrepreneur + speaker who guides organizations on leadership development. In his new book, Life Is Hard But I’ll Be OK: The Power of Hope Emerging through Pain and Learning to Live with Gratitude, he documents the struggles he and his wife Susan have had while raising a family. The book centers on how to have faith in the darkest of times. Special music is provided by our incredible Voices of Hope Children’s Choir, directed by Sarah Grandpre, who performs “Wanna Be Happy?” and “Soul’s Anthem." They are accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley. Then, the Hour of Power Choir, under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras, delivers a stirring rendition of “You Do Not Walk Alone," accompanied by Dr. Philip Hoch on piano and the orchestra. We hope you'll join us for this hour of faith and inspiration!

And this special offer is a great place to start! For your gift of $25 or more this month, we'll send you our Faith Soap Dispenser. It’s crafted of clear glass and holds eight ounces of soap, hand sanitizer, or lotion. For your gift of $65 or more, our Self-Care Bundle includes the soap dispenser, a set of three lined gratitude journals with inspirational prompts, and our "Cast Your Cares" candle, which is hand-poured, made of 100% soy wax, and contains the words of Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you" on the front. We hope this unique offer inspires you to care for your soul by spending time in the Lord's presence so you can share His light and love with everyone around you!

Here's an exclusive episode that was just added to our YouTube collection

Evil Knievel was a stunt performer and entertainer who achieved superstar status in the 1970s and 80s. Life afforded him every worldly pleasure, but as he came to the end of his time on earth, he found himself feeling empty. He received Jesus Christ, and in 2007, he made a public profession of faith on Hour of Power. We hope you enjoy this classic episode that reminds us of just one of the millions of lives changed by God on our broadcast through the years.
