Experience the Doing

May 4, 2024

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9

Yesterday I encouraged you to show up for life if you want more from life and your Christian walk! Simply showing up, being present, and sharing the love of Jesus with others is the best solution. When you show up to life, to challenges, to touch someone's life or to help someone who's hurting, you gain experience...

5 Ways You Can Hear God's Voice
This Week's Episode

Pastor Bobby’s encouragement for you if you’re going through a challenge, a difficult situation or a crossroads, is to ask God for a word. One word from God can transform your life forever! Today’s message: “5 Ways You Can Hear God’s Voice.”
Duane “Dog” Chapman, best known to many as the reality television star, Dog the Bounty Hunter, spent years capturing thousands of criminals on his hit show. After his wife, Beth, passed away, his faith was tested. Although he didn’t receive the miracle he had hoped for, he did see God’s handiwork in healing him and redeeming him during one of his darkest seasons. His incredible story is recounted in his new book, Nine Lives and Counting: A Bounty Hunter’s Journey to Faith, Hope, and Redemption.
The Hour of Power Choir and Worship Team, featuring vocalist Fernando Munoz and directed by Steve Caudill, performs “O God, Our Help in Ages Past” (Isaac Watts; William Croft; arr: Tommy Walker; orch: Dave Williamson). The choir is accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, Susan Caudill on organ and Bob Emmett on piano.
Diane Reynolds began her career working in musical theater productions, with a favorite being the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical, City of Angels. Diane performed in “The Glory of Christmas” and “The Glory of Easter” for thirteen years as Mary. She can be heard on over 100 movie soundtracks, including LaLa Land and Ice Age 5. Diane lives in Orange County, California and teaches private voice lessons. Today, Diane sings “In Christ Alone” (Brian Littrell). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

This Week's Offer

Nothing says home like food. When things are cooking in the kitchen, cherished memories and good times are never far behind. Something about being with the ones we love and enjoying a meal reminds us of how blessed we are...and of what a gracious God we serve. Our Savior provides sustenance for our bodies, minds, and spirits, and He endows us with the honor of tasting His goodness as we extend His hand of hospitality to people.

To help you embrace the joy of fellowship and the blessing of gathering, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind gift this month. Unlike anything we’ve offered before, we hope this special set will inspire you to intentionally create meaningful moments for others.

With a one-time gift of $65, we’ll send you the “Taste and See” book and kitchen set.
