Hope for Ethiopia

The Samaritan's Purse Hope for Tigray program in Ethiopia provides hot meals, Biblically based trauma recovery counseling, and other support for vulnerable women and children who've suffered through a brutal war. In partnership with local churches, the program provides much-needed food and a space to heal for the boys and girls it serves. Caregivers hired to look after the children are also blessed as their income allows them to meet some of their own family's needs.

Kebebush, a caregiver with our program, can now send her three kids back to school and better provide for them. She said she is thankful for the opportunity to earn a living through Samaritan's Purse and finds joy in serving children who are healing from the war's traumas.

Giving these children nutritious meals and bringing smiles back to their faces provides opportunities to share with them the hope found only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone can heal their wounded souls. Please pray for the women and children served by this ongoing ministry.
