Do you know someone who tries to mold Christianity to fit current cultural trends? Maybe they attempt to make the Gospel all about social justice or insist that Christlike love means affirming LGBTQ+ lifestyles. Maybe they urge you to do the same. Perhaps they promote these twisted versions of the Gospel in the name of “love” and “justice”— two very biblical concepts. It’s no surprise, then, that faithful Christians are struggling to know what it actually means to love their neighbor without sacrificing truth.
Loving our neighbors requires believing the truth and living the truth. The good news is that the Gospel frees us to do both. But if we’re going to believe the Gospel, we must fight the sneaky lies and half-truths that twist our understanding of it.
At this year’s Great Lakes Symposium, author and apologist Alisa Childers and Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation will help us identify the most common false gospels of this cultural moment and show us what it looks like to genuinely love those around us by pursuing biblical belief and biblical action.
We hope you'll join us!
