This coming Sunday the gospel presents us with the death of Christ, the life of a servant, and the situation of a vulnerable child. Come to worship to see how these three interact, to sing our praises to God, and to pray for all who are in need.
SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 11:18-20 The prophet led like a lamb to slaughter Psalm 54 God is my helper; it is the Lord who sustains my life. (Ps. 54:4) James 3:13—4:3, 7-8a The wisdom from above Mark 9:30-37 Prediction of the passion
The Call Committee and Transition Team have finished their work of completing the Ministry Site Profile (MSP). This is our "Pastor Wanted" document that the Synod posted on the active "Pastor needed" site on Monday, September 9. Thank you to all Call Committee and Transition Team members for your hard work!
We have now entered into Phase 3 of the Call Process. We are now in the stage of waiting for possible pastoral candidates to interview. As you know, there is a pastor shortage, so please add to your prayers that we receive perfect candidates for Crossroads! In the meantime, the Call Committee is busy putting together interview questions so we are ready to go when candidate names are presented. If you have a potential Pastoral Candidate that may be a perfect fit for Crossroads, please contact Don Lalim at: don.lalim51@gmail.com. He will pass on the name of the candidate to our Transition Coach.
