Join Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde and Tim Shriver, founder of UNITE and co-founder of the Dignity Index, for a powerful conversation on how dignity can help heal divides in our public life. Together, they’ll explore the intersection of faith, education, and leadership—and how these values can guide us through polarization toward unity and hope.

This event is part of the Cathedral’s "A Better Way" initiative, a series created to help Americans listen deeply, live together with respect, and move forward as one nation—especially in divided times.

After Hours in the Towers

June 19 - July 31, 5-7 pm

This summer, experience the Cathedral like never before with an all-new after-hours event! Begin with a special edition Tower Climb and ascend through winding staircases and hidden passageways to see up-close Cathedral details and panoramic vistas. After the climb, relax with light refreshments in the Cathedral’s Tower Observation Gallery and take in breathtaking views of “golden hour” over the Washington, DC metro area.

Family Fun Day

Saturday, June 21, 10 am–2 pm

One Saturday a month, we're featuring Cathedral-themed activities tailored just for families and kids! Join in with our hands-on demonstrations, scavenger hunts, coloring station and pop-up library cart, plus see the Cathedral LEGO® exhibit and more. All ages welcome; activities geared towards kids age 4-12.
