We believe every person is a beloved child of God, and we aim to live out our Baptismal Covenant to “respect the dignity of every human being.” |

Our principal weekly Holy Eucharist will celebrate and honor the lives and contributions of members of the LGBTQ+ community with special prayers and music and guest preacher, the Reverend Charles Graves IV, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Shaker Heights, Ohio, and member of the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church. | Visit Matthew Shepard's Final Resting Place |
Sunday, June 1, 9-11 am & 1-5 pm |
Matthew Shepard (1976–1998) was interred in the Cathedral's Columbarium on October 26, 2018, following a service of thanksgiving and remembrance. St. Joseph’s Chapel, Matthew’s final resting place, will be open for those wishing to offer their respects, light a candle, or say a prayer. A portrait of Matthew by iconographer Kelly Latimore and commissioned by the Cathedral’s LGBTQ+ employees will be on display. |

| Online Event: An Afternoon with Poet Jericho Brown |
Join us for an online conversation and reading with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Jericho Brown. A 2024 winner of a MacArthur Genius Grant, Brown’s poems have been described as offering “an unlikely kind of hope . . . evidence of a fragile belief in the possibility of change, of the will that makes change possible.” This event will be recorded for registrants who cannot watch the livestream. | Guided Spotlights Tour: Pride Edition |
This hour-long guided tour features the stories behind must-see Cathedral favorite features, plus, learn about Cathedral’s work towards greater inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in the life of the Church and the legacy of those who organized, advocated, and bore witness in the face of resistance and prejudice.
