Crossroads Lutheran Church as you are aware we are deep into our capital campaign to increase our ministry by eliminating our credit card debt and adding stability to our congregation by hiring a full-time pastor. We are thrilled to announce that the credit card debt has been paid off in full! A full-time pastor gives us the opportunity to increase our church family and become a vibrant presence for God in San Tan Valley and Florence. As you know, our first goal is to raise $30,000 in six months while our stretch goal was $40,000. With your generosity, we have blown this goal out of the water! We have so far collected 24 pledges for a total of $75,490! Just wow! We are now aiming for our mega goal of $100,000! Of the pledged donations, we have collected $47,750, accounting for 63% of pledged giving.
Please prayerfully consider what God is calling you to give above and beyond your regular giving to the Ministry of Crossroads. We appreciate every pledge we receive! Pledge cards are due by May 5, 2025. You may pay in installments of your choice or by one-time giving. Designate the funds for the Capital Campaign. You may give via Church center, cash, or check. Our goal is to have the gifts for the More Ministry and Less Debt campaign by October 26, 2025.

Attention! Save the Date for this very important Special Congregational Meeting! After much work by the Call Committee and the Church Board, a Pastoral Candidate, Pastor Ryan Marsh, will be voted on to receive the call to Crossroads as our next Pastor! Per our constitution, "Authority to call a pastor shall be in this congregation by at least a two-thirds vote of voting members present and voting at a meeting legally called for that purpose." Also, per the constitution, "Ten (10%) percent of the voting disciples shall constitute a quorum". Don't miss this exciting meeting for Crossroads Lutheran Church!
It's not not goodbye; its see you later! It was a bittersweet Sunday as we sent Pastor Kaila and her family off for their next adventure in Alaska! We wish you all the best and thank you for all you have done for Crossroads Lutheran Church! You will be greatly missed! May God continue to richly bless you and watch over you in this new chapter!

WHAT IS THE BIBLE YEAR?
The goal is to read the whole Bible in a year, but think about it in terms of smaller, daily goals. Think about a commitment to read a short selection from the Bible plus a concise devotional every day. You can do that – especially since The Bible Year has it all mapped out for you day by day.
Plus, you’ll also get summaries of key themes and ideas to help you better digest and understand your readings. So you’re not just reading verse after verse, you’re enriching your spiritual life, developing a deeper faith and We will be having small groups to discuss The Bible Year so we will be growing a closer connection to God and to each other.
