View this email in your browser Dear Friend, In 1989, my grandfather, Dr. Robert H. Schuller, preached, “The I Am Determines the I Can.” Our strength comes not from ourselves but from God. We overcome by trusting Him—the great “I Am”—who empowers us to persevere. 1. Moses: The Power to Overcome Fear (Exodus 3:14) When God called Moses, he doubted himself. But God said, “I Am Who I Am.” Trusting Him, Moses led a nation to freedom. If you feel inadequate, remember: your limits don’t matter when you serve a limitless God. 2. Hannah: The Power to Overcome Heartache (1 Samuel 1:10-11) Hannah faced sorrow and ridicule, yet she turned to God in prayer. He heard her and gave her Samuel. Like Hannah, when we bring our pain to the great “I Am,” He can transform sorrow into joy. Trust His faithfulness. 3. Peter: The Power to Overcome Failure (Matthew 16:18) Peter denied Jesus but turned back in faith. Jesus restored him and called him to lead. His story reminds us: failure isn’t final. Trust the great “I Am”—God’s grace redeems our past and leads us to greater purpose.
