This fall, Lewis & Tolkien takes the stage at Museum of the Bible, inviting you into an imagined reunion between two of the greatest storytellers of all time: C. S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia) and J. R. R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings).

This powerful play explores friendship, faith, and imagination in a story crafted for lovers of literature, theology, and timeless tales. Opening October 30, 2025, for a limited run, Lewis & Tolkien is an event you won’t want to miss.

MEET THE CAST

Arye Gross (J. R. R. Tolkien): Best known for Minority Report, Big Eden, Gone in Sixty Seconds, A Midnight Clear, and House II, Arye has had an acclaimed career in film, television, and theater, with recent roles in The Lincoln Lawyer, The Rookie, Monster, and 911.

Bo Foxworth (C. S. Lewis): A UCLA and Yale-trained actor with credits ranging from Modern Family, VEEP, and HBO’s All the Way to acclaimed stage roles with the Shakespeare Theater, Antaeus Theatre Company, Bo Foxworth has performed at regional theaters all around the globe.

Anna Theoni DiGiovanni (Veronica): A versatile DC-based actress, DiGiovanni has performed with Arena Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Academy for Classical Acting, The Kennedy Center, and Mosaic Theater Company of DC, among others.

Dean Batali (Playwright): Veteran television writer and producer on more than 350 episodes of television (including That ‘70s Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Good Witch, and Puppy Dog Pals), Batali brings his passion for faith and storytelling to the stage in this original work.
