Empty Yourself Before the galaxies came to be, God knew you. He formed your frame and gave you the breath of life, the profusion of His passion. Yet your intricate design was not fashioned to accumulate, but to empty. God made you to be a blessing, so in spending yourself for others, the world would be touched with His love. You are invited to release all that you have—your time, money, strength, and heart—to feed the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed. In the hollow of your emptied spirit, He will continue to fill you. As you are full of Him, God will draw others to His light. So pour out every drop of your being without a care about tomorrow. God will replenish you with even more to give. Spend yourself for the hungry, and God will feed your spirit. Satisfy the needs of the oppressed, and God will satisfy your every need. Spend your all, and just wait; His light will radiate from you.
