Never Too Far

Never Too Far Have you ever believed you were too far gone for God to save you? Or perhaps you have a family member or friend who has been walking in sin for years and continues to reject God. It’s easy to lose hope in these circumstances. But it’s never too hard for God. Scripture tells us the city of Nineveh was teeming with so much wickedness that Jonah didn’t want to even set foot there. If God wanted to destroy it, He had plenty of reasons. Instead, He instructed Jonah to bring the city a message of redemption. With only forty days standing between Nineveh and the wrath of God, Jonah finally delivered the message to the king. God gave the Ninevites the opportunity to repent of their sinfulness and live a life devoted to Him, they obeyed, and the Lord forgave. Like Jonah, we are now entrusted us with the message of Jesus. Remain steadfast in your demonstration of the gospel to those around you. Be obedient in prayer, and never lose hope. It’s never too late, and no one is ever too far gone for God’s rescue.
