A Prayer to Find Mentorship It’s not always easy to figure out the next step—whether it’s in your career, your faith, or just life in general. That’s why finding a mentor can feel like such a gift. Someone who’s walked the road ahead, offering wisdom, encouragement, a listening ear, and honest advice.   But our search for earthly mentors can feel frustrating, even a bit disappointing. Some people give too much advice, others too little. Some don’t listen enough or ask the right questions. Some people treat you like a box to fill or a second chance at life, instead of a person to journey with. And, some people are great… but just not the right fit for you.
