A New Mission

A New Mission After Paul’s conversion, he not only experienced new life in Jesus; he also received a new mission. He was no longer to use his gifts to persecute the church, but rather to build it—to champion the church’s mission by preaching salvation to the Gentiles. In God’s perfect wisdom, through Jesus, He opened the door for all people in all nations to know Him. What had been a mystery was now known, and Paul used his life to speak this truth to as many people as he could. As a follower of Jesus, you have also received new life and a new mission. You are a part of the church and are to carry out its mission: to share the news about God’s salvation with the world. We believers proclaim what Jesus accomplished: freedom for all! So how will you use your life, talents, and gifts to champion God’s mission for the church?
