A Prayer After Confession We all make mistakes. Lots of mistakes. Like so many mistakes that we can’t count them. And mistakes can embarrass us to the point of not wanting to deal with them. They can bring shame, fear, and a sense of condemnation. But for Christians, mistakes NEVER have the last word. We serve a God who is abundant in loving kindness, steadfast love, and extravagant grace. His kindness leads us to repentance—not his anger or his frustration—his kindness.  And so we can bring our mistakes to God as a place that brings healing and joy. And after we confess? Well, that’s what this prayer is all about.
