Forgiving Others

Forgiving Others Have you ever wanted to get back at someone who wronged you? I mean like, reeeally give them a piece of your mind and a taste of what they deserve? We get so caught up on that word—“deserve”—especially when it comes to retaliation. But, how quickly do we forget that Jesus has forgiven us even though we don’t deserve it? We are called to readily forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because God gives us his grace and forgave us first. Because of that, we can extend that same forgiveness to others.
