A Prayer for Hiding Easter Eggs Broken eggs. Spills. Chubby little fingers dyed every color under the sun. The clean-up afterward. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the complex (and messy!) realities of our traditions, we can overlook their true intent– an opportunity to point our ordinary toward something extraordinary. As we work towards releasing the stress that can arise from what we want to be a joyous occasion, may we recognize the holiness in the midst of the mess. And this week, when our small ones are in bed, and the rest of our Easter preparations are underway, let us take a moment to invite God into this sacred, ordinary moment.
